When the t is in small (tB) it stands for 1000 Gigabytes.Many storage device manufacturers (mainly hard disks) use 1000 to boast more memory.

So some people say 1000 as a rounding but the real value is 1024. If you want to know how much that would hold, the average JPEG is 30 kilobytes you could hold 35,791,394.13 (i did the math)
